Help or advise please!!

Hi there, i have been experiecing a cutting out/dieing of power problem when accelerating hard on my 1999 S3. It happens for example when accelerating from a slip road to join a motorway, trying to overtake, basically most times you try to accelerate hard. Its always above 5k revs, the car just dies of power, you have to let off the throttle completely, give it 5secs or so & it picks itself back up. Ive had it into several garages including audi. I have changed the air mass meter, the fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, the fuel pump, have even tried changing the plugs! And still it is doing it, its not as violent when it does it now but its starting to drive me crazy and put me off my car. The car has revo remap, cat-back miltek, forge re-circ dump valve & an N75 race valve, but it did this once before any of these parts were fitted.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 99 1.8t, it turned out to be the clutch.
