I am suspicious that my cooling temp sensor is on its way out, the gauge reads about 60 when driving and about 90 when stuck in traffic, sometimes its reads between the two when normal driving,
Can anybody give me some figures for what there gauge reads when running and stuck in traffic.
Cheers

Should always read 90 degrees once warmed up. Regardless of if you are in traffic or driving along. I would say your thermostat is stuck open and needs replacing.

Yes, one of the easiest on any A4, under the two bolt black plastic cover with the hose coming off it.
