Another random question - If I wanted to change the trim on my Audi A8 diesel exhaust ends is there anywhere that sells them to slide onto the existing curved exhaust trims ? as you know the diesel end of the exhaust bends downward so I couldnt just use one of the standard straight pointing ones I see many of. Obviously I want to do it tastefully just to add some shine to the exhaust tips which now look a bit manky.

Alternatively I would also look at changing the exhaust ends to twin tailpipes ... I know that companies like hofele do complete conversion attachments for the diesel exhaust end, but has anyone else done this more cost effectively ?

Hi there,

Ive just had my exhausts converted to get the audi s8 look but i have also had to change the rear bumper and had a S8 original bumper fitted. I just had the tailpipes replaced with twin oval tailpipes which got welded onto the existing backbox.

Purchased the rear bumper from audi dealers cost £420 incl Vat trade price

Twin oval exhaust pipes £45 each from local exhaust specialist.

It was worth every penny because the look is just like the audi s8.
