Polo 1.4 AUA
My polo is poor to accelerate from cold. I had fault code 17604 o2 sensor 1 heater.
So I suspect the lambda sensor heater.
My question is the lambda sensor is a 5 wire type (wideband?). Are the heater wires the white and grey? Can you test the heater on this type of sensor?
Since I have erased this code and run the car it still runs poorly from cold but the code has not reoccured. If the heater is open circuit ( white and grey are o/c) should it have retriggered the fault code.
Is there an expert to help me before I splash out on an expensive part?
