VW Lupo Electric Window Switch

Can anyone help with a simple problem please? I want to replace the drivers electric window switch which is mounted in a block on the drivers door. I have removed the block and disconnected the wiring from the two window switches and internal doorlock system. I have the block with the two switches completely detached, but can't seem to remove the duff switch from the block. It appears to be retained in the block by two very small lugs at the base of the switch. I've tried easing it out with small screwdrivers, but don't want to cause any damage. Any suggestions please?

not really the tags hold the switch in it can be tight but should come out

After a bit of brute force and swearing managed to free the switch. New one works a treat. Thanks for your help.
