Tiguan: what mpg do you get

Really fancy one but can any owner kindly tell me what mpg you really get? VW quote combined 39 mpg but so do Nissan for the X Trail and I only got 30 with that.

I get an average of 37 on my 170 TDi. The computer overeads by up to 10%

I've got the TDI 140 and the computer says between 42 - 49 each trip, mainly A road driving, 70 mph ish. I reckon it's averaging around 44mpg.

I also have the 140Bhp Sport on 18" Wheels, 770 miles on the clock and it is doing in the low 40's, I do a bit of stop start and long runs so I would guess mid 40's is not unrealistic.
