Howdy all,

Have a few issues to resolve on a 1992 Audi 100 Avant, 2.0 petrol.
I don't have a manual for it so I thought I'd try my luck here with the experts ;)

#1) Driver side wing mirror needs replacing.
Is this easy to replace?
Do I need to remove the door card to do so?

#2) Engine temperature shows at 50c regardless of how long it's been running, rad fans never cut in to cool the engine down.
My initial thoughts are to check the state of the thermostat and if needed replace it.

Where is this located within the engine bay?
Is it a simple job to replace it?

#3 Loud squealing noise (like a duff belt) only when turning full lock left or right, checked steering rack and there is a broken rubber gatter on this.
Could it be a defective steering pump making this noise?

Would really appreciate your input on these issues to avoid me spending tons of cash on a relic

Cheers,

#3 - I'm guessing possibly a dying power steering pump, if squealing under turning, but the fanbelt is ok.

Easy way to check, get someone to steer, lock to lock, whilst the engine's running, whilst you listen around the engine bay

The other two, unfortunatly, no idea!
