1.9 tdi turbo noise?!?

hello, i have just got a 55 reg golf 1.9 tdi s for my 21st and have had it for a 1 week now. today when i drove her i noticed that when gear changing it sounded a bit different. normally there is a little turbo whistle noise but this was more of a air release noise like a "puffff" ha ha ha. however it only did it for a few mins then it went away. i was justwondering if maybe it makes a different noise when its cold and the engine hasnt warmed up or has anyone experienced anything like this? i am mainly worried because i thought there could be a hole in the turbo pipe?!?!?!? arghhh.

This isnt anything to worry about.. My TDi does this too.. Its normal.. Its just your putting revs into it while you change.. so its sooking air into the turbo. It may over a long time not be so good for it.. but im no mechanic so dont quote that. But given the right curcumstance it can sound pretty cool!
