Laziness & VDO gauges

Hi all, being really lazy, can anyone tell which VDO oil pressure sender I need for my 1.8GT Scirocco ('89). I got one with the gauges I bought over a year ago & it does not work. So it needs to be replaced & I can't be a**ed to go outside to find out what thread it is. I'm presuming it'll be metric & therefore the 10mm one with the low pressure light connector.
