How to remove B6 Headlight unit

Hi All,

Im having a nightmare removing my main headlight bulb it just wont budge, ive changed one no issues but the drivers side wont budge, ive had pincers on one of the prongs and ended up snapping it off.
My hands are chewed to bits and my ego is dented, my last resort it to remove the main headlight unit does anyone know how to do this and is it an easy job

Front bumper needs to come off I believe. If you do a search on VWVortex there is a guide.
