I've been looking at these and i would love to get them on my mark 3. Its a 4 stud though and i'm not sure if they would fit:s I know nothing much about cars but im a keen vw enthusiast so im willing to learn. If anyone could point me in a direction for other types of steel alloys, and maybe an optimal size as i'm looking to drop the car after putting them on.
Thanks
James

Hi James,

You will struggle - the t4/t5 are 5 stud fitment and I think the pcd if 5x112 on the t4, not sure if it is the same on the t5. You would need to find a set of adaptor spacers to allow you to fit them on your golf with its 4x100 (assuming it is not a gti/vr6).

The spacer adaptors are out there if you have a look through one of the VW magazines there will be advertisers in there offering the adaptors.

You will also need to work out if the et will work with this combination, ie. will they still fit under your arches. Have a chat with one of the advertisers, they may be able to give you an answer on that side of things.

T5s are different to the T4 as well, T5s are 5x120 PCD.
