Hi, does anyone know what tyres were supplied (size and model) on an 04 A4 cabriolet? They're 17 inchers.

All the loaners I've had of that ilk have had the same as my Sport on them - 235/45/R17 - mostly Dunlop SP Sport 9090's.

Cheers,
Dan.

cheers :D

Are spares ok to use? Mine seems full size, with proper alloy. I need to change my front 2 tyres, and one is curbed, so I was thinking about putting spare on the curbed one, and getting a new tyre for the other side. Then the curbed alloy and tyre can go in the boot.

Any issues with doing this?

No problem with using a spare - I was thinking of doing the same. One thing to look out for is the tyre direction (which is normally marked with an arrow) - you may need to get the tyre turned round if it's going the wrong way for the side you want.
