rd 510 radio sd card

Can anyone advise me what i need on my computer to download my home cd's to convert to mp3 and then download to an sd card so i can use it in the slot on my radio.I have an sd slot on the computer but it would be helpful to know how to do the above.Just to add I am not very computer minded so simple instructions as I am a thickie.

If you use windows you can just rip the CD to your hard drive and then drag and drop them on to the SD.

You will see the rip option at the top of windows media player

iTunes makes ripping very easy, free for Mac/PC

I have found it is easy to download through windows media player and just drag and drop onto the sd card.this works great and have got 12 hours of music on a 2 gig card and have still got some room.
