quattro or not

hi i am after replacing my a4 auto i need an auto but weary over getting another with the multitronic, am i right in thinking if its a quattro it doesnt have this box and is therefore ok to buy or am i just hoping? also what price do you think would be reasonable to be offered part ex for mine its an 04 plate 1.9 tdi 130 sport auto, blue with black leather, fsh and 63000 miles. thanks for any replies. :confused::confused:

Quattro will have the tip-tronic gearbox. Its supposed to be much more reliable.

I meant for auto's. Quattro = tiptronic. FWD = Multitronic.

I never said you couldnt get manual versions.
