HI,
I posted a note on here recently about a suspected blown head gasket on my 110 BHP TDI golf.
This is now confirmed but unvield a bigger problem. The head is beyond repair. It would be easy to get a second hand one if i had not found out the car was an import orginally and has an ASV engine code.
Can anyone tell me if this engine then only takes a specific head or if one can be used from another model? Further to that any ideas on where to get a qulity replacement head would be appreciated.
Sufice to say this is well frustrating but just i guess just bad luck.
