2004 Audi A4 - Headlight problem

Hey guys

Posting on behalf of my GFs dad!

Hes just had a really weird problem with his headlights, both of them flickered, and then went completely off, and came back on again. He also didnt have any indicators

the clock dials dipped in light then came back to full brightness yet non of the other instrument dials did this, just the headlights and the intrument cluster.

any ideas?

now the wipers aint working, no matter what speed you put them on, there just dead slow on every speed

Sounds like the wiper motor is on its way out. I've not a great deal of knowledge in the electronics department though so can't help with the headlight issue.
