Hi guys,
Just wanted to share sumthin with you re replacement tyres when the time comes......sumthin to consider maybe?

I have an A6 that came from the factory with the twin 8 spoke alloys 17"....lovgely but a real beeeacth to keep clean, and I like my car to look clean.
I needed 2 new tyres on the back......225 x 50 x r17 Continental Contact Sport 2's were around the £160+ supplied fitted n balanced. I also love the Pirelli brand as I have run them for many miles and many years...great tyre especially in the wet. They too would be around the same price depending on what spec you went for, so a total of around £320 for 2 tyres:(
Over n above this I wanted to upgrade the look of my alloys.
I went onto Ebay and bought a set of 4 Audi TT Trapeze alloys c/w Continentals on them for £435 delivered to my door last year:biglaugh:
The tyres alone were worth £600 plus the wheels retail from Audi for around £400 each
I now need 2 new tyres on the rear again....same deal
Just bought the exact same alloys ( although mine are almost as good as new ) c/w Bridgestone Potenza rubber all round delivered to my door for £441

Gota love Ebay:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:
