Hello,
I just did some major works with my Audi A4 tdi to correct an problem with slow start in the morning.
Amongst things that were replaced: gasket valves, water pump, camshaft. Turbo part was repaired etc. Bill was around £2000
Now I am glad to say that the car starts quickly in the morning but there have been other symptons which may be associated to the above major repair works.
1. Grey smoke is noticeable and becomes darker on 3000 revs/min (motorway traffic)
2. High oil consumption. I had yellow oil warning light come up after only 500 miles (since above repair work)
3. Minor oil leakage that I notice every morning in my garage
4. High fuel consumptions 250 miles on 40 litres instead of 350 miles
Grateful if you could advice on what may be the causes / fixes.
