vag com info reqd

Hello all, im new to this forum(so still finding my feet a little) but have a wealth of experience not just on vag models, looking for a bit of advice with regards vag com version 805.3 that we have just purchased, i know that the bulk of info with regards coding etc you can recieve from ross tech, just ideas required as to service information to run along side it, does everyone subscribe to erwin or are there other alternatives? cheers, james

Volkswagen use the workshop information system ELSAwin containing all the workshop manuals, current flow diagrams, HST's and service info for current models of VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda and Utility vehicles. It is the best info system but not available outside of the dealer, but you know what it's called. ErWin is basicaly ELSAwin on pay per view and always the latest info.
Autodata is widely used but very expensive for CD3 which is of most use as it contains the most information.
