Just posted this up on a few other forums and thought I would stick it here as well for those interested:

Officialy due to be unveiled later on in the week, but appears to have been leaked (no surprises there!)
New engines include the long rumored 1.6 TDI (75, 90, 105) and 1.2 TSI (105), which should also appear in the Golf MK6 later in the year
Looks fantastic IMO

The front looks ok - more convincing than the current 9n2, although personally I prefer the "cheeky" look of the original 9n to all this mean-looking racy stuff (not everyone wants to pretend they're driving a GTI).

The back looks like a dopy sad face, with bags under its eyes. Not good at all. I can see those rear lights being reworked pretty soon.

Have to say, if you'd told me this was the new Golf, I'd have believed you. Seems like the modern-day Polo has a bit of an identity crisis.

More pictures of the new Polo. VW has been raiding the present/past parts bin especially by installing a Mk4 Golf armrest.
