Hi all

A4 avant 130.

the airbag warning light has been coming on and off at random over the last few days, now it is on all the time.

Any ideas on a common cause? I noticed one of the front sensors looks to be a bit corroded, could that be at fault?

Any advice appreciated. I imagine the main dealer will sting me to fix!:(!

many thanks :1zhelp:

what sensor is corroded and where is it ?
it may be the wires under your seat very common

thanks for that, I've had a look under both front seats and the connectors look ok. But I guess that the wires could still be loose in the connector block? I will have a better look when (if) it stops raining.

According to my haynes manual there are front crash sensors either side of the radiator, it is one of these that looks a bit rusty.

many thanks!

You really need to have a fault code read,to determine what is at fault
