I'm having some issues with power on my A3. Uphill on the motorway - forget it, if i'm doing 90, for example, it will drop a good 15mph on the hill until I get to any flat. It's a 90bhp, 1.9 TDI model. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem might be or how I can rectify it?
Cheers in advance!

I've got exactly the same prob's with my 2001 A3 Tdi, it's struggling to pick up speed, where as it used to be fine before, alot of people have said it could be my mass air flow unit that might be faulty and need replacing.

Still haven't got mine sorted, and it's using more fuel than normal too

Just had a full service and the car was slower than ever before, so I stopped unplugged the MAF the car was much quicker with this unplugged but still nowhere as fast as it should be...

When you get a replacement MAF can you just switch the bit that slides into the vented round section? The vented section seems clean and clear...

Any ideas?
