Buttons on drivers door

Hi I just noticed 2 buttonsns on my Audi A4 2002 which are located on the drivers door storage. They pic looks like its giving off a signal, I dont have a owners manuals. Cananyone tell me what these buttons are for please/

They are for turning off your alarm and the internal sensors for the alarm. Seems unlikely that you want to switch them off.

one with car symbol is tow away protection and the other is interior alarm monitor- these can be deactivated should you be towing the car away or in the case of the interior alarm ,leaving say the dog in the car. hope this helps
