Timing Belt Replacement Intervals plus other

Hi I have a 1.8T 53 Plate Audi A4 Convertible. I bought the car in July 2008 and I am interested to find out what the replacement recommendation interval was for the timing belt at that time.

I am aware that in Aug 2008 Audi wrote a memo to change the time to 5 years and 75K.

Also does anyone know if Audi used to issue a Voucher for payment on work that was scheduled to be completed on the car but not required immediately at the time of sale? i.e. If a service was required in 3 months, bring the car back at that time and Audi would Service the car free of charge? I am after the period of time they would offer to issue a voucher and which Audi dealerships used to do this?
