vibration when changing gear

had my audi a4 1.9 tdi 115 for about 6 months 125000miles on clock 2004 when i change gear 1st to 2nd and 3rd get a kind of grinding noise soon as i press the clutch to change gear quickly and if i press the clutch slowly it dont happen hope its not the flywheel clutch feels fine haynes manual says check the gearbox mountings and ideas anyone please im worried it may be something serious thanks

possible clutch release?

flywheel would normally be judder through the clutch, usually when setting off.

Could be a number of things, best thing to do is visit a clutch specialist and get them to give you a clutch test, most garages will do this for free.

hi thanks for the reply never happend this morning at all then started again funny really but when i change gear slowly it dont happen most garages i contacted say they wont change the release bering you have to change the clutch because they cant garentee just changing the bearing £625 for clutch god knows how much dealers wiil charge wat will happen if i just leave it?
