Hi

I have a 2003 audi a4 2.5tdi. Yesterday when I started it up to drive to work, i noticed the average mpg, avergage speed and time driven had all frozen on the computer between the rev and speed counter. The time driven was displaying something daft like 61 hours? Usually it resets itself but it appears as though its frozen and it wont reset itself? Any suggestions?:1zhelp:

Cheers!

This may sound really stupid but have you checked you haven't accidentally flick over to the continuous measurements rather than the trip ones.

I think this is your problem

On mine there is a button on the underside of the wiper stick.

On mine there is a button on the underside of the wiper stick.

same place on most VAG's I believe....

the underside is used to switch between the current trip/total trip readings.

Best thing to do , in fairness, is to consult the owners manual, the guide within is comprehensive according to the car.

Cheers!! I never noticed that there was a button under the wiper column. I have got it back to normal trip readings now.:beerchug:
