Need some help about the VW A5 jetta 1.4

hi guys;
i had decided to import a used 2007 jetta 1.4 170 hp from german markets

But i have abig problem i still completely cant distinguishe between
140hp & 170hp (as i can do that in Golf MK5 by some exteriore changes)

also, what is the line supported originally the leather interiors and dvd player cuz i had found by search there is comfortline and trendline ...etc ,but i do not know the higher one as this is my first time i will drive a vw ????

& i full of feeling as i will lost my money in a trick :zx11: looooooooool




plz i wanna a very simple and clear differances in any part in the engine or body
or the engine codes




and this is a photo of 170hp but i dont know how 140hp is looks???

The engine will look the same.
Does it say anywhere the kW output?
Model summary inside the door or engine?

Comfortline and Sportline are the only ranges with the TSI as an option.
Unlike the UK, the DE version offers the 140 and 170 in both of the higher specs.
If it does not have front fog lights then it is the comfortline, if there are front fog lights, could be either. This however does not help with enfine size

Only other idea is phone the chasis/model/unique ID number (http://www.volkswagen.de/vwcms_publish/vwcms/master_public/brand_portal/de30/customers/myvolkswagen/mein_auto.pc_page.htx)into VW.
Or Join the German Mein "Auto" bit with the number, and see if it tells you what it is?

the sticker in the boot will give a kW output the same sticker is also inside the service book ..check that out and get back to us

ok now i recivied a fax from who will import it for me

this car have fog lights and the interiors are not completely in leather

equiped also with Navi system "work as dvd'

the out put is 125kw

i think i will buy a good car ?d u think so??

plz tell me if there is higher options as fast as u can

125kW is the 170 (the 140 is 103).
If it has fog lights then it is either the sportline or the confortline with foglights specified as an extra. My bet is the sportline but then again, I dunno.

Do you mind if I ask how much you are saving by importing?
Have you gone to a broker yet?

From your post, I'm now not sure whether you have or are about to buy this car?

From 3weaks i decided to buy THE NEW JETTA 1.4 tsi as i like to own that
strange technique "1.4 give 170 hP the thing that i thought it is a jock:p"

so i called him to search 4 a used jetta 1.4 2007, i trusted him but i tends to ask some pals as i am not a prof. in that field

the costs, i will pay a bout 21.000 Euro for all costs may be little more
-milage = 6000 km-

do u think it is expensive???

New, you would be looking at about, 26,000 to 28,000 Euros at list price for the Sportline TSI 170. 21,000 sounds like a goodish dealer price, even better if all shipping and transfer fees are included.
