passat 2.5 TDi V6 questions.

Hi,

I am looking at buying an 03' VW Passat 2.5 tdi V6. It has done 109,000 with full service history.

I was just wondering whether this engine came with a cambelt or timing chain, and if it comes with a cambelt, when should this be changed?

A belt, or two actually, one for the cams and one for the injection pump.
It should have been done at 80,000 miles and it's best to do the waterpump and tensioners at the same time. It costs about £600 for all that.
