Hi,
I have a 2000my A4 1.9tdi which up until yesterday had the standard Audi concert head unit.
I replaced the head unit for the newer Audi chorus unit as i also fitted a genuine audi ipod kit and needed the newer head unit.
Now i have two small problems..
1) When i remove the key from ignition the head unit does not turn off. I read somewhere that the newer Audi uses canbus to switch off the unit when the key is removed. Does anybody have any ideas on this and woh it can be overcome?
2) There is no illumination on any of the buttons on the unit.. Only the display lights up. Anybody any info on this?
