Centre Lower Grill

I have just bought a centre lower grill from VW cost me about £32 this was the part number 1K0 853 677 C9 B9
I think it might be the Jetta grill but i was thinking it would be the GT Golf grill. The only reason why i think is because there seems to be a grove around the grill were a trim could be placed around it.
Does any one know if i am correct?

That must be the grill for the refaced model.

I had to buy one for mine (early 06 type) after a bird fight!

Similar part no 1K0853677A9B9 but less than a tenner.

it certainly does look as if there is something to go on top of the edge of the grille. I'm unsure what it may be though.

I suspect you may have to do some foot work and go looking at other cars on the fore court, look at jettas and golfs.

It looks like there is a piece of cosmetic trim missing. Have a look at the picture below of my car. Hope this helps.
