How do you remove the colour coded bumper inserts?

Recently bought a GTTDI. All is well except the previous owner had the driver side front colour matched bumper insert repainted because it was scratched. Trouble is it has not been fitted back correctly and is proud at one end. How do they come off and is ther a trick for refitting correctly?

they should just prang off if my memory serves me correctly.

What does prang off mean? I do not want to force something off and break a hidden clip or something leaving it worse off!
