Bad engine sound.

Hi!

Got a strange sound from the engine, it appears when i accelerates, it sounds like a turbo sound but much higher. Anyone got a clue what it can be?

Hi,i would take a guess at a split intercooler/intake hose? They can be hard to spot so i suggest you remove hoses to check.Also,check intercooler for signs of oil deposits(heavy) around it,suggesting a hole or the rubber seals gone.These will also make the same noise.

Inclince to agree with Alan. if you can't find anything with the checks I'd try vcds and see if there are any fault codes or problems with charge pressure - requested / delivered boost.

Checked the hoses and they looked fine, there where some oil in the hoses thou.
Where do you mean a rubber seal might be gone?
