Firstly, I would like to thank Stuart for allowing me to post this job opening.
We are looking to recruit an individual to assist with hands-on Sales, Support and Internet Design. This is predominantly home based and for a small family run business specialising in automotive additives and lubricants.
Ideally you will be a car enthusiast that is PC and internet savvy. You should be familiar with the basic principles of combustion engines, engine mapping, tuning upgrades, fault diagnostics etc. However, you do not need to be a qualified mechanic! Internet design and marketing experience are equally advantageous.
More importantly, you must enjoy working with and supporting customers ensuring they receive the best possible service and advice, whether by phone, email or through discussion boards. You must also be articulate with a high level of verbal and written English.
You will be required to explore new leads and may occasionally need to visit client sites. This role will also require regular data entry and website maintenance as it relates to sales and marketing.
This could be a part time (minimum 20 hours) or full time position. Salary negotiable and based on experience – i.e. hourly rate and/or commission based etc. Subject to a successful trial, a partnership or shares option may be offered to the right individual that is resourceful and adds value, plus demonstrates integrity, loyalty and a willingness to excel.
