Very nice indeed mate, they really suit the car, are they 18's?

Is that a front splitter (off eBay) under your front valance?

They are 18's the splitter is the same as the ones they sell on ebay for £40 + £10 postage... But i got mine from a Seat dealer for £21

I think because they are split dish they look a bit smaller, is that what you think too? Looks like the spokes should radiate further to the rim.

Oh love the 'S'badge too, I know another Avant not far from me with one on (but on other side) ;)

Looks really nice, im a big fan of BBS LMs.

Ive got the same splitter on mine aswell, got it from Seat too.

Nearly lost my splitter on a curb the other day but they look really good.

Yup, they almost look like 17's at first glance, it's quite a deep rim.

I'm not keen on labeling a car an "S4" when its not one, but just the S on it's own is more subtle, I kinda like it!

Al.

PS: Is the splitter hard to fit? Do either of you guys have a part number please?

Dont know the part number off of the top of my head but its a Leon Cupra R 2004 splitter. It costs £21.50.

As for fitting, what i did was cut off all of the brackets used to fit it to the LCR, then drill some holes in the splitter and then fixed with some self tappers. I also trimmed about 2cm off each end.

It took me about 1 and a half - 2 hours but it would have been alot easier with a second pair of hands.

My mates got the same splitter on his Mondeo ST200 aswell.

Meant to say Redducatti that the wheels look good but I know how you are feeling about uncertainty as I had BBS wheels on my Golf GTI a few years back in 17" and the looked small due to the detail in the wheel. Only lasted a couple of months before I upgraded to 18" and it made a big difference.

I may drop it 20mm and fit some 10mm spacers to the rears as they seem to sit further in the arch than the fronts

Hi.

How did everyone fit the splitter on to the bumper?? Was it a DIY job or did you pay somene professional to fit it??

I've just recently bought the splitter, but too scared to fit it myself as I might mess it up. I want to get it fitted properly.

Is anyone kind enough to help me out please??

I had to buy a new one and refit it in the week as i hit a badger and it took the splitter with it :aargh4:.

I just cut all the brackets off, drilled some holes, then just make sure its in the middle and just screw it into the bumper. Its a simple job just quite fiddly getting it in the right position.
