Hesitation and Fogs

Bought a 6 month old 2 litre auto diesel Tiguan in early January and would like anyone's experience with

1) car hesitates/powerless intermittently on initial acceleration perhaps particlarly after warm restart

2) front fogs sit with water level inside but gargage tell me this is a known problem as they are vented and it should evaporate within a short while of turning them on. They suggest if the problem still occurs in 'dryer' weather in June they will be replaced under warranty. This doesn't seem to make much sense to me !
