Just got VAG-COM Pro and used it for the first time.

Report is as expected

"01810 - Actuating Motor for temperature flap; right (v159)"

Went to Ross-Tech Wiki only to find "01810" doesn't exist but "01809" does, it refers to the the same thing but left side........ it appears!

Should I be looking somewhere else or is that the way it works, ie "use your common sense".

Thanks

Martin

Ahhhh see in my excitement of using the new tool I forgot that bit!

Golf V 2. GT FSi 54 plate.

Spoken to those lovely chaps at Ilexa, and they pointed out that the codes go up as requested (apparently there are over 11000 possible fault codes!

There are multiple sub divisions of that code, 000, 005, 006, 007, 009, 101 and 012 but it is reasonable to assume that the right hand temperature flap motor is faulty which the manual says is glove box and lower trim out to do but that is left hand drive. Looking at the left motor it says dash out and I assume this is what is required on right hand drive but I have never done one-yet.
