a3 1.9tdi 2004 rpm sensor fault

hey everyone
having major trouble trying to get my a3 sorted..... have changed cranshaft sensor and cam sensor.... the car will crank for 10 15 seconds before firing...have had vag code g28 engine speed sensor come up
has anyone any idea what could be the problem......is my flywheel the problem.........would really appreciate any kind of feedback

a decent diag machine can check the speed sensor signals
if these are ok the fault could lie in the ecu
