I have a polo gti, y reg. When I bought it, about 1.5years ago, its springs had been cut to lower it as a bodge. I have finally got my short arms out of my long pockets (as i'm told) to buy my polo a lowering kit. But I dont know which one to buy. I have only about 300 pounds to buy it. My fella can fit it as he is a mechanic but he holds his hands up and says he's no expert when it comes to what kit for what ride (actually I think he doesnt want to be the one to say "buy this one" coz he knows he will never hear the end of it if its duff!)
Can any one advise me please. I'd like it to be a bit smoother than it is now (as you can imagine, its like a pogo on wheels) but i want it to corner well as im a rubbish driver and I need something that will hold the road!!.
