Just bought my second ever VW after a 25 year hiatus. Now the owner of an 04 plate Polo Twist 1.9 SDi, bought from Arnold Clark in Dundee. 22 400 miles and full service history. Car came from Shetland (accounts for the mileage) and is in pretty good nick. First tank of fuel returned 53 mpg. Is this okay I wonder?
Have had problems with windscreen washer bottle pipe popping off as Arnold's Top Flight Service Agents filled it with pure water as the temperatures went sub-zero and it froze, then it soaked the boot as the rear pipe disconnected itself for the same reason. Now the sensor on the brake pedal needs replacing as the engine sounds like a bag of spanners and I've got no braking lights. Always fun driving a black car home late at night from work!!
Apart from that love my new purchase to bits!!!!!!!!:beerchug:
