Hello and Passat estate advice needed

Hi all. I'm looking at buying my first Passat estate. I'm looking at a 2001 or 2002 1.9 TDI either 100 or 130 bhp. Does anyone have advice about the difference between 100 and 130?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I use to own a 130 Passat (2003), my sister has a 100 Passat (2007).
There is quite a bit difference in the pulling power, I mean the 100 works well but the 130 give you a bit of an extra kick.
The MPG is hardly any difference at all between the two.
