Raising Tiguan Tow Bar Height?

Hi

I've had a Bosal towbar fitted to my Tiguan, it's fitted within the EU height limits but it's too low! I have a Bateson Ascot horse trailer and the hitch height is 460mm, where the EU maximum height is 420mm. Is there any way of raising the height? The height is causing stability problems with the trailer and the fitting place - Towequippe are not returning my calls.

is the problem not with the towbar height but the hitch on the horse box?
when i used to tow the race cars same trailer different cars i had a different hitch fitted which cured all stability weight distribution faults
trailer was towed on subaru/bmw7series/toyota celica/rav4
