How do you remove aerial on Ibiza

:1zhelp:Can anyone give me a clue as to how I remove the standard aerial on the Ibiza. My sons aerial unscrews so far then just spins and comes out no further, i assume its the anti-theft design that stops it coming out but there must be away round it, any clues would be great?:aargh4:

If it is the same as mine - remove the front wheel then remove the inner mudguard plastic liner. quite easy. Con

the only way is to take the roof lining down :( and unbolt from there.

Thanks for info, not keen on pulling roof lining down I suppose will have to stick with original aerial.

I've heard from alot of forums that just brute force is needed. just pull really hard when it is totally unscrewed!

the problem with doing that is it will break the mount as it is designed to only unscrew then fold. The head lining is a pain to do but you should only need to access the rear part
