Hi,

I'm currently working away from home and driving in snow like the rest of you UK guys.

The ABS light on my dash came on (I had the ESP turned on for the snow). I thought this meant I was running low on break fluid so went out and bought myself a pot full.

When I went to put it in, there was that much fluid in it I could see it was full when I took the cap off.

I don't have access to my owners manual as I'm away from home, could someone who has access to the manual please tell me what the ABS and ESP warning lights on the dash mean when they stay on.

thanks

been through any water lately?

I had a similar fault on my mk5 golf, the cause was found to be water in the engine bay fuse and relay box. Had been some very bad weather in the build up to this problem and the likely cause was going through too much water and puddles.
