Newbie question Re n/s lights

Hi, i recently bought a 1997 A6 2.4 V6,and i was wondering,could anyone tell me the significance of the following-when i park on level ground and in daylight,the n/s front and rear lights come on and the lights on warning buzzer sounds,however this only ever occurs in one exact spot! and on moving off and stopping again it stops.does this actually mean something,or am i losing it!!

It's not something as simple as you've left the indicator in it's 'left turn' position is it?

No i've tried everything,right down to switching off the engine,getting out and locking the doors then starting the car again,the only thing that solves it is driving off and parking elsewhere! maybe this car is used to being parked in a more upmarket area,and does'nt like my choice of parking spot! :confused:

This may be over simplistic, but as you have said that this occurs in one "exact" spot, don't park there :biglaugh:
