Bora Cambelt change

I have a 2003 Bora 130 Tdi SE,the car has done 32,000 miles.I received a card from the dealer I bought the car off stating that it is time for a cambelt change.Is that right? I would have thought it would be more than 32,000 or 4 years before it needs renewing surely.
Recent 30,000 mile service at a independant garage who are very good.They did not mention any cambelt change

Can anybody advise.......

it is due at 60k... there was a but of a rule of 60k or 5 years.....

If i was you i would have on till at least 50k... but thats your choice..

VW have been suggesting 4 years of late.
Either they don't trust their belts as much as they used to, or they are short of some cash. I change mine at 50k or 4 years...

Mine was about £275 when done with a service and MOT.
