Hello,
I have just purchased a 99 golf. It has ran fine all week but today on the highway it had what felt like a hicup...it felt like a split second stall, engine light came on very briefly and then it was fine. When I got home I noticed that there was a little oil dripping out from what I suspect is the water pump (passenger side, front of engine). It also has a very faint ticking sound....please help!
