Touran 1.9D 105 Towbar Electrics

Hi - I would appreciate any advice on how the tow bar electrics are connected. I am especially interested in how they are connected to the bus system under the dash and how not to invalidate my warranty! Further if some one has any pictures this would be much appreciated.
