OBD LEADS/INTERFACE/SOFTWARE ON E-BAY

Hi All,

Have been looking at the OBD leads and software on E-Bay,has anyone purchased and successfully used these.
I dont have a problem at the moment but as I intend to keep my Passat for a long time I think these items could be an investment.

I got my OBD cable off ebay, works fine with Vag-Com.
