Idle problem???

Hey guys.

My engine workshop light keeps comming on after about 70 miles. I've read the fault codes, 16795, 17544 (vacuum leak and lean running at idle).

Using this forum i've changed the vac pipes (2 under inlet manifold, 1 on engine, 1 running behind engine and the L pipe), cleaned the throttle body, its had a new AMM and still this bloody light keeps comming back! :aargh4:

Engine seems to idle ok. Starting when cold it idles at about 1100 - 1200 revs, then drops to 750 - 800 revs and stays there.

Is there anything else i should look at????

Cars is 1.8T, AWT. 2001.5

You haven't changed enough pipes to be sure none are leaking. Look at the other threads on here re; lack of power etc.

check the pipe that fits onto the EGR valve.
