central locking problems

Hi, I have a 2002 TT and am having problems with the central locking - not working at all. This is also associated with the light not coming on and the boot doesnt open from the key fob? Anyone else had similar problems and any ideas gratefully accepted.

Ps. Ive checked every fuse i can find and replaced the key fob batteries already!

Check Ignition Switch Clicks When Taking Key Out!

I have just had a similar problem on my Golf GTi (see Thread on Golf Mk4) - Try disconnecting and then re-connecting both battery terminals This is called a "capacitive discharge". It took me 5 mins and worked perfectly.

PS. You might need to re-code the radio...
